During copper profile extrusion, adjust the center line of the extrusion equipment and tools to ensure the integrity of the peeling extrusion and reduce the deviation of the extruded product. For metals with high viscosity, tool adhesion is easy to occur, making it difficult to form a complete residual skin. In this case, within the allowable range of metal heating temperature, try to lower the extrusion temperature or enhance the cooling of the extrusion pads to avoid adhesion and facilitate the formation of a complete skin.

To obtain a uniform and complete skin, the extrusion pads should have smooth edges as much as possible, so that the pads can automatically align with the center of the billet during extrusion. However, the round corners of the pads should not be too large to avoid difficulties in separating the pads. When using peeling extrusion, a larger extrusion force is required; generally, it is more difficult to produce certain products on small-tonnage extrusion machines.
