In the entire continuous extruder, the main motor, main machine gearbox, main shaft bearings, take-up machine winding motor, winding gearbox, and winding bearings are all part of its transmission components. The effective lubrication of the bearings or gears within these components is crucial, and maintenance must be strengthened.

For gearboxes and main shaft bearings with oil pump thin oil cooling lubrication in the continuous extruder, a cooler should be used for cooling. If a considerable amount of water is directly infiltrated into the oil, it is very easy to emulsify the oil, causing the lubricating oil to quickly deteriorate and lose its performance.

As for the main shaft bearing lubrication system of the continuous extruder, the oil level should be checked regularly to ensure it is normal. Pay attention to the effective operation of the pump and clean the filter element in time. If the pump is easily overloaded in a short period, or the frequency of cleaning the filter mesh increases significantly, and the oil sludge and metal debris on the filter mesh increase significantly, it indicates that the lubricating oil is not in good condition and should be replaced in time. Simultaneously, check, clean, and unclog all circulating pipelines and components. If necessary, open the bearing cover to check the bearing wear.

The gearbox lubrication system of the continuous extruder also needs regular checks to ensure the effective operation of the pump and to check the oil pump regularly. If the gear oil has failed, or even caused the gears or bearings to begin to wear, the gear oil should be drained immediately, and an equal amount of diesel oil should be injected into the gearbox, running at low speed for 10 minutes to thoroughly clean the gears and bearings. Simultaneously, clean and unclog all circulating pipelines and components before refilling with new gear oil.

During the maintenance of the continuous extruder transmission system, mixing new and old oil must be avoided. The oil change cycle should also be noted; shorter cycles better reduce friction pair wear and extend the service life of the equipment, providing a necessary condition for its normal operation. However, from the perspective of economic efficiency, oil products should be used more accurately and effectively.
